How much Fun could a Fairfax Pharmacy filling be?
This IS NOT ONE OF THE CHAINS! INDEPENDENT privately owned... the name is literally "PROSPERITY PHARMACY" (just fyi). Probably more fun to ask the same question three times fast, then actually having to be at a pharmacy, right? But as one who had to visit three Pharmacies this week, it was duly noted the caliber, the amazingly quick service, outstanding friendliness, cost, and ... *sigh*... even the gregariously charming and attractive staff!
No really...I went in with three prescriptions expecting to return 2-3 hours later for a pick-up; but after a two minute dialogue...the very friendly female associate replied "Wendy, we'll be done in 10!" And they were! )(Literally, too, devilishly times it.... AD/HD counting addiction) 10 Minutes for three (3) Rx's! The tiny 550sq ft or so...the Prosperity Pharmacy is conveniently tucked away in the first floor corner of a standard Physicians and Fairfax Inova Dr's medical center. Although, even with the 5-7 other customers it didn't make it claustrophobic...All of those customers, by the way, were also immediately greeted with a friendly "Hullo" and were on a first name basis with the THREE friendly staff members! I've been to many well known retail pharmacy chains recently and they all had only one overworked and tired nonchalant Pharmacist and I waited endlessly! ...A lot of interaction between all with warm friendly jests while I waited.. ...and the rear wall has the most obscure funny cards,too, btw :) The effervescent tech that tallied my total, warmly inquired twice if I understood the meds or if I had any questions..and genuinely meant it, as he waited with eye contact for a reply! Sheepishly, he jested how many patients can leave a Dr. feeling slighted or clueless...although his words were a wee bit more tactful..:) Superb service for my two different FULL-FILLING prescription visits :) Three Cheers for the Prosperity Crew! Refreshing when the most important of all of our assets, our health, is in jeopardy :) Just FYI..They do have another location on 3300 Gallows Road, too:) Thank You.
